I greatly enjoyed the stay here and will be back. Everything was fabulous, exceptionally nice location short walk to a short walk to the village, a very nice park and an old church, and Berkeley Lodge, lovely staff. The property was in the middle of the city. Stopped by Dove Cote to get some coffee and treats, it's right at the venue, recommend. The breakfast was fresh made, the check in was early😀

The value for money at this cozy hotel was excellent, with comfortable beds, clean rooms, and a welcoming atmosphere. The location was perfect, close to town but on a quiet street. The staff treated us like family, offering helpful recommendations and going above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable.
The only improvement I would suggest for breakfast items is to ensure that all fruit served is fresh and not overripe.

Got lucky with 2 complementary apple tarts and coffee on our arrival. Very convenient location close to town and river walk. The breakfast spread had a good variety.
The room was not well sound-proofed, we could hear the noise from the street and neighboring rooms. The mattress was uncomfortable, felt like sleeping on springs.
